We built Quillorum with the assumption that every manuscript shared is both commercially valuable and creatively irreplaceable. Security is not an add-on — it is the foundation.

All manuscripts are stored with AES-256 encryption at rest. Files are never stored in a readable format — decryption keys are managed per-author and never shared.
Manuscripts open in a sandboxed in-browser viewer. Downloading, printing, and copying text are disabled by default. Authors can configure restrictions per book.
Every reader signs a non-disclosure agreement before accessing a manuscript. Each signature is timestamped and stored against the reader's verified account.
Each reader receives a unique, single-use invitation link. Links expire and cannot be forwarded or shared. Authors see exactly who accepted and when.
Hosted on Vercel's edge infrastructure with automatic TLS, DDoS mitigation, and global redundancy. No manuscript data is ever logged in transit.
Authors can revoke a reader's access at any time. On revocation, the reader immediately loses the ability to open the manuscript — no cached copies.
Every significant event in your review programme is logged and attributed to a specific reader account. You always know exactly who did what and when.
